A stable of actors is needed for a variety of performances and presentations throughout the festival.
TEN MINUTE PLAY readings: Winning playwrights of the Ten Minute play contest will have their plays read.
AARGH!!, the Asian American cabaret:
PLAY READINGS of No No Boy by Ken Narasaki and Lazy Susan by Ken Choy.
Interested actors/actresses should submit a plain-paper, clear photocopy of their headshot (b+w or color) with their
resume on the opposite side in a standard legal envelope (no large envelopes). Be sure personal contact
information including email address and phone number is included. At the bottom of your résumé, please include
either handwritten or typed/computer printed what your type is. Agents are not necessary, union affiliations are not
needed, and communication will be only with the actor/actress submitting.
Interested performers for AARGH!! should send a bio and/or resume pasted into the body of the email as well as a
synopsis of the planned performance. Additional materials will be requested. Please do not send attachments
initially. However links to youtube or similar performances (under 5 minues) may be included.
For those interested in submitting online for AARGH!! (not to be used for submission to readings), please send a
link to their personal web site, page (myspace, facebook, etc) which contains the above information and photo.
Links must go directly and without difficulty to one page that contains this information. Pages with excessive
pop-ups, ads, and worms, viruses, Trojans, and other invasive arsenals will be ignored.
Submit materials to be received by October 1, 2009. Auditions will be held shortly after for actors. Rehearsals may
be on evenings and weekends of the week prior to and off the festival. Please be sure your schedule is clear prior
to submitting.
Selected artists for AARGH!! will be communicated via email with further details.
