Contest
Thursday 10/22
8PM
Performances of
winners directed by
Rena Heinrich
The second half of the night belongs to the playwrights whose winning ten-minute plays will be performed by both
up-and-coming and professional Asian American actors.  Any writer can submit their ten minute play to the contest or
enter Battle of the Pitches.  Both contests focus on promoting and discovering Asian Pacific Islander writers and on
scripts that have prominent, non-stereotypical, and strong Asian Pacific Islander characters and themes.  Complete
entrant information can be found at www.Mapid.us.
